Mridula, an Associate Architect at ED+, graduated in 2018 as a Gold-medalist from the School of Architecture and Planning, Chennai. Her curiosity in exploring various forms of spatial expression led her to work with the pioneers in cutting-edge architectural tectonics during her Masters at The Bartlett, UCL in London. This further widened her perspective on the global architectural discourse and peaked her interest in the realm of architectural innovation and spatial exploration through digital mediums.
She gained professional exposure working at International firms; RSP in Bangalore and Ong&Ong in Kuala Lumpur, as well as KSM Architecture in Chennai. Her tenure at the firm began in 2014 as a part-time designer when she was a student. She then went on to undertake the role of a Team Leader when she rejoined in 2019, managing multiple projects under her wing in the following years. Today, she believes in building socio-culturally rooted, future-driven and visually expressive architecture that draws from its context, using modern materials and technology to carry forth the traditions of the past.
