PURVA BHENDE

Purva Bhende has been associated with the practice from 2017, initially as a junior architect after completing her B.Arch, and joining again in 2020 as an Associate Architect after her masters. She also has a year of professional experience working in Ahmedabad, under the tutelage of Pritzker laureate B.V. Doshi and later Anthill Design, both practices playing a pivotal role in shaping her perception of the nuances of the built environment.

 

An M.Arch graduate from the Manchester School of Architecture, she worked within an intersectional, feminist atelier Praxxis, that moulded her interests towards accessible, inclusive and collaborative design. Purva's ideas gravitate around how things work and the mechanics of architecture as a means to achieve contextually relevant sustainable design.
